Here is a quick yet delicious cheesesteak recipe that has always won me praises and received countless rave reviews. A simple meat sandwich that doesn’t need too many ingredients or any hassle. Made with thinly sliced beefsteak and melted cheddar in hoagie rolls this sandwich is a superstar at any party.
The most essential part of this recipe is to get the right beef cut. You can either use thin strips of ribeye steak or tenderloin. Both give incredible results. However, I, in thus recipe have used tenderloin strips. I have kept the seasonings minimal and let the steak be the star of this recipe.

Ingredients
  1. 250 grams tenderloin strips
  2. 1/4 cup oil
  3. 1 capsicum, cut into strips
  4. 2 onions, sliced
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  7. Cheddar cheese slices or shreds as per liking
  8. 4 hoagie rolls
  9. Butter to toast the rolls
Notes
  1. Slit open the hoagie roll lengthwise keeping it intact and not cutting it through and through.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add steak strips to it. Cook on medium high flame till all the water from the meat evaporates. Add the sliced onion and capsicum and continue to stir fry till vegetables are half done.
  3. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Add cheddar cheese to the steak and quickly stir the cheese in as it begins to melt.
  4. Now prepare the rolls. Heat some butter in a pan and gently toast hoagie rolls upside down.
  5. Use tongs to generously stuff each roll with the cheesesteak filling.
