  15. SYRUP
  16. 1/2 cup water
  17. 1/4 cup sugar
  18. 1-1/2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
  1. Measure all ingredients for dough in a mixing bowl. Bring them together. It will be super sticky initially. Now dust some flour on the counter and transfer the sticky dough over it. Start working on the dough with your hands using stretch and fold movements. Continue to knead and stretch and fold the dough till it is no more sticky and does not stick to the counter and your hands.
  2. Now place the dough in a greased bowl cover and let rise in warm dry corner in your kitchen. It takes about 2-3 hours to double in size.
  3. Once it has risen well punch it down and divide it into small ping pong size balls. Flatten each ball in your palm and place a small piece of cream cheese in the centre. Roll back into a smooth small ball and place in a 9 inch greased pan. Arrange the balls in the pan. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Now mix together melted and milk and brush on prepared bread.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Prepare syrup: cook together water, sugar and honey till it comes to a boil. As soon as it boiled continue to cook for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Pour your syrup over freshly baked bread that has come right out of the oven.
  8. Once the bread comes to room temperature remove it from the mould and serve.
