Chicken Paprika Crostini With Caramelized Onion

Ingredients
- 6 hot dog buns
- 200 grams melted butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- A pastry brush
- FOR FILLING
- 250 grams boiled chicken, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chicken powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chilli sauce or hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- salt to taste
- 1 medium onion finely sliced and caramelized in a little oil
- Cucumber and red pepper sticks to garnish
Instructions
- cut each hot dog bun into 3 thick slices horizontally. Cut each end of a slice at an angle of 45 degrees to make a slant end. Scoop out a little bit of bread center from each slice to make room for filling.
- Mix melted butter and garlic together and apply on bread cups with a pastry brush. Place them on a baking tray and toast in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes.
- In a small mixing bowl stir together all the ingredients for filling and stuff it in prepared toasted bread cups as shown in the pictures. Garnish each crostini with cucumber and red pepper sticks.
