Chicken Paprika Crostini With Caramelized Onion

Ingredients
  1. 6 hot dog buns
  2. 200 grams melted butter
  3. 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  4. A pastry brush
  5. FOR FILLING
  6. 250 grams boiled chicken, finely shredded
  7. 1/2 cup sour cream
  8. 1/4 cup cream cheese
  9. 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  10. 1 tablespoon paprika
  11. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  12. 1 teaspoon chicken powder
  13. 1 teaspoon oregano
  14. 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  15. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  16. 2 tablespoons chilli sauce or hot sauce
  17. 2 tablespoons ketchup
  18. salt to taste
  19. 1 medium onion finely sliced and caramelized in a little oil
  20. Cucumber and red pepper sticks to garnish
Instructions
  1. cut each hot dog bun into 3 thick slices horizontally. Cut each end of a slice at an angle of 45 degrees to make a slant end. Scoop out a little bit of bread center from each slice to make room for filling.
  2. Mix melted butter and garlic together and apply on bread cups with a pastry brush. Place them on a baking tray and toast in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes.
  3. In a small mixing bowl stir together all the ingredients for filling and stuff it in prepared toasted bread cups as shown in the pictures. Garnish each crostini with cucumber and red pepper sticks.
