FOR BURGER PATTIES
  1. 500 grams chicken breast fillets
  2. 3 onions, medium sized
  3. 3-4 green peppers
  4. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  5. 1 teaspoon beef/chicken stock powder
  6. 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  7. 1 tablespoon roasted ground cumin
  8. 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  9. 1 tablespoon dried basil
  10. 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
  11. 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  12. 1-1/2 teaspoons mustard powder
  13. 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  14. 1/2 an egg, whisked
  15. 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  16. 2 tablespoons oil
  17. 1 bread slice
SRIRACHA BBQ SAUCE
  1. 1/2 cup sour cream
  2. 1/4 cup ketchup
  3. 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  4. 1 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  5. 1/2 teaspoon chicken stock powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  7. 1/2 teaspoon roasted ground cumin
  8. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  9. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  10. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  11. 3 tablespoons milk
TO ASSEMBLE
  1. 3 burger buns, toasted
  2. 6 cheddar cheese slices
  3. Oil to shallow fry the patties
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, mince onions and peppers. Add chicken fillets and all the ingredients listed for patties. Process it well.
  2. Shape six large burger patties out of the minced chicken mixture.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce.
  4. Shallow fry the patties. While hot place a cheese slice on one patty and cover with the other. Place another cheese slice on top. Now place this stack in the microwave for 30 seconds so the cheese starts to melt
  5. Apply some sauce on the burger buns. Place the double melt patty on the bun and cover.
