Ingredients
  1. 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  2. 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  3. 1/2 cup bread crumbs ( flavoured)
  4. 1/3 cup flour
  5. 1-1/2 cups milk
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  8. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  9. 1 teaspoon oregano
  10. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  11. 2 tablespoons parsley
  12. 6 large eggs, separated
  13. 8 ounces grated Cheddar cheese
  14. 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions
  1. Butter your ramekins generouly dust them with bread crumbs and parmesan .
  2. In a saucepan heat butter and sauté flour then gradually add milk stirring with a whisk to avoid any forming any lumps. Let simmer till it thickens. Then add Beaten egg yolks, the seasonings and cheese and take it off the flame.
  3. In a clean dry bowl beat together the egg whites and cream of tartar till stiff peaks. Fold into the cheese mixture. Divide into prepared ramekins and bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes till top is golden brown.
