Ingredients
- 1 large packet noodles Or spaghetti boiled with a little oil and strained
- FOR CURRY
- 2 cans coconut milk
- 2 sachets coconut cream powder
- 5 tablespoons yogurt
- 5 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
- 2 litres water
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoons chicken powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- FOR MEAT CURRY
- 500 grams chicken or beef coarsely minced
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 large onions finely chopped
- 1-1/2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
- 1-1/2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon red chilli flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon chicken powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons roasted ground cumin
- 1-1/2 tablespoons chilli garlic sauce
- 3 tomatoes finely chopped
- TOPPINGS
- Chopped spring onion
- Chopped coriander
- Chopped green chilli
- Fried onion
- Fired garlic
- Boiled eggs sliced
- Chaat masala
- Lemon slices
- Chilli chips
- Fried wonton wrappers
Instructions
- Start by boiling noodles. Add oil in it and then strain them and keep aside.
- In a large pot all ingredients for curry and mix well using a wide whisk so no lumps are formed.
- Keep the pot on medium high flame and cook till it begins to boil. Reduce flame to medium and continue to cook for 40 minutes till curry thickens slightly.
- In another wok heat oil and add chopped onion once it turns light golden add the minced chicken. Cook on highest flame so all the water from chicken evaporates. Now add in ginger garlic paste and all the rest of the spices. Sauté well and add tomorrow towards the end. Stir fry really well till oil separate and begins to surface.
- To assemble arrange boiled noodles in serving dish. Fill with curry and then add Cooked chicken. Add optional toppings as desired.
- Serve hot.
