 What makes it so special to occupy that pivotal a place in our lives and more so our hearts? I haven’t ever squandered that much time to ponder over the question rather on whipping up some dessert out of my whimsical world into real one. 

These cute little individual tarts are quick-no bake yet gourmet and a certain pleasure and treat to the heart, mind and taste buds. 

Strawberries and Belgian dark chocolate, an all too famous combo whipped up in no time, will definitely be the star of your Valentine’s dinner table.

 

 

 

 

 

Belgian Chocolate Strawberry Tarts for Two

Ingredients
  1. 8 digestive biscuits, finely ground
  2. 5-7 tablespoons melted butter
  3. 12-13 strawberries chopped
  4. 4 tablespoons sugar
  5. 3 tablespoons water
  6. 150 grams Belgian dark chocolate, grated
  7. 75 ml cream
  8. Sprinkles to go on top
Instructions
  1. Mix together biscuit crumbs and melted butter. Press in individual tart tins. Let set in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  2. In a pot cook together chopped strawberries, sugar and water till thick. Let cool.
  3. Spread a layer of strawberries over the set base.
  4. Pour cream over some grated dark chocolate and microwave for 40 seconds. Stir well till smooth.
  5. Pour chocolate over strawberry layer. Add some sprinkles on top and and a sliced strawberry. Chill for an hour and serve.
